About the Event

KAHUNA BODYWORK is a Rite-of-passage ritual from the ancient temples of Hawaii, that transforms you on every level of Being. The Akua Mana massage training is our introduction to KAHUNA BODYWORK, or Shamanic Bodywork. This training focuses on the use of the forearms as the primary massage' tool' for the practitioner. You will learn how to use your forearms to apply deeper pressure within specific geometric patterns in a variety of ways. You'll learn some effective shamanic techniques for releasing blocked energy and we will introduce the Deep Joint Rotations that Kahu Abraham Kawaii created to unlock and release ancestral imprints that are stored in the major joints.

You will learn a shamanic bodywork routine that is healing on so many levels. This full body, front and back routine involves many flowing, wonderfully relaxing forearm strokes, and some deeper strokes introducing the use of elbows, releasing tension from the deeper layers of muscle tissue, primarily around the spinal column. This shamanic bodywork massage is, 'a journey to the stars'  because of its vast healing power....
