For me, the art of lomilomi is a kind of
spiritual companioning. It’s about being fully present to another and deeply listening as they open themselves to their own truth and clarity. Lomilomi creates energy shift, the sacred shift within that is inspired by the presence of a compassionate companion. It is a joyous dance in which the receiver leads me to raising the vibrations towards the harmony of love, that is pure Aloha. I see myself as a midwife, birthing the souls that TRUST themselves in my hands. It is always an honor and a gift of great learning to be given the opportunity to profoundly touch another in the sharing of this sacred art form from Hawaii.

With 24 years experience in the healing arts, practicing as a Licensed Massage Therapist,
a Doula (birthing coach) and Holistic Health Educator, I’ve gained a considerable wealth of knowledge in Healing Touch Therapies. I’ve learned to listen and surrender to Higher guidance, the ancestors and the Halau. Drawing on Hawaiian Healing Principles, and on a profound respect for the innate wisdom of our higher selves, I have witnessed many miracles, and I am grateful!

Oceanna began formal massage training in 1998 in Santa Barbara CA.,
graduating from the School of Intuitive Touch in1999.
Aloha Mana Lomi Lomi training began for her in 2000 upon meeting Wayne Kealohi Powell.
The next 2 years, until 2003 were about travelling with Kumu Kealohi and aprenticting to
teach the Lomilomi massage dance. Through this aprenticeship she earned her Kumu status
from Kumu Kealohi. She was the first Kumu born from Hawaiian Shamanic Bodywork.
Oceanna began offering her own Lomilomi trainings in 2005.

Oceanna has spent many years learning about and working with the Spirit of Aloha.
She has experienced much intensive training in Meditation, Dance and in building a
Community, of Spirit--based life style. She has also spent much time in her Joy
with the Hawaiian islands, mythic studies, art, music and Heart Centered
psychology has deepened her path.

She loves chocolate, dancing, ice cream, singing, shape shifting and da Great Spirit!
