Hawaiian Shamanic Bodywork was born on Kauai where Kealohi began his journey learning
Temple Style Lomi Lomi several years after meeting and working with a powerful Kahuna named Abraham Kawai'i. He began teaching Huna on Moloka'i in 1995 and teaching Lomi Lomi in 1997 in the US, Canada, Costa Rica, Fiji, the UK, Europe and Australia. Kealohi has been so blessed to have studied with five other Masters as well: Serge Kahili King, Lawrence Kamani Aki, Sherman Dudoit, Harry Uhane Jim and John deRuiter, He is currently settled in Kapaa, Kauai, to finish writing his book on Shamanic Bodywork for a Spring release.

Hawaiian Shamanic Bodywork is also very excited and honored to present on beautiful KAUAI:
LOMI~Four: July 21~31: Lomi Healer Advanced Training. This is our most advanced shaman training which takes place mostly out-of-doors on beautiful Kauai. During LOMI Four there is also a Luau Feast with the BEST Hula Show with Fire Spinning on Kauai.
The curriculum for LOMI Four is listed HERE. Registrations are now being accepted for this incredible shaman adventure on Kauai which is the oldest of the Hawaiian Island jewels. It's
ten million years old and Kauai is one of the most exquisite islands in the world, perfect for an advanced Hawaiian shaman training of this caliber! For all who would like to join us in LOMI Four we strongly recommend arranging a Skype interview with Kealohi, especially if you have studied with other Lomi teachers outside of our Shamanic Bodywork Halau.

Aloha Principles for Healing

The origin of these ideas are from Serge Kahili King. I expanded them for our Halau to study.
They are very powerful when employed to view life or energy from a deeper perspective, witnessing and contemplating the presence and interaction of Nature being itself as Aloha~Love. The Hawaiian vowels are pronounced as in Spanish. The ‘I’ as in ‘pita,’ the ‘e’ as in ‘prey,‘ the ‘a’ as in ‘father,’ the ‘o’ as in ‘mote,’ and the ‘u’ as in ‘duty.’

You can repeat or sing these words as a chant or use as a mantra to invoke all manner of goodness into your life. They are very empowering! You can repeat just the primary word in Hawaiian and/or in English, or the whole proverb if you wish. “Effectiveness is the measure of truth!”

IKE ~ KALA ~ MAKIA ~ MANAWA ~ ALOHA ~ MANA ~ PONO ~ MALU
I AM AWARE, I AM FREE, I AM HERE, I AM NOW, I AM LOVE, I AM STRONG, I AM GOOD, I AM PEACE


IKE is pure awareness. The world is what you think it is.
‘Ike, moakaaka, o keiki maka ~ I see clearly through the eyes of a child.
Awareness is all there is, ‘Being,’ aware of Itself.
All Energy, is self aware, just being itself.
The Key: Everything means, only what it means to you.

KALA is pure freedom. There are no limits.
Noa mai mo’olelo ~ I am free from all story.
Released from all ties that bind one to an ancient
logic that is extinct or a story that has expired.
Freedom’s flight from the past into an open clear future.
The KEY: Be in love with letting go!

MAKIA is pure focus. Energy flows where attention goes.
Eia ~ I am here! Focused within authentic presence,
directing the flow or ‘current,’ through the gravity of focused attention.
The Key: Be aware of what you are focusing on because it will increase!

MANAWA is pure NOW! Now is the moment of power!
Ola manawa I ke manawa ~ I live moment to moment.
There is only now, no other moment actually exists.
It is only in this moment our Presence lives and thrives.
The KEY: Be here now!

ALOHA is pure love. To love is to be happy with.
Pu’uwai hamana ~ My heart space is open.
Only love is real. Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists.
Pure Aloha accepts all things, transcends all things.
The Key: Follow the gravity of Love!

MANA is pure power. All power comes from within.
Ikaika ~ I stand strong in my power.
Source holds all power of life inside its belly. Our Aumakua~High Self
shares with us a bountiful confidence of treasures revealed through a true warriors humility.
The Key: Know and live the strength of your own heart!

PONO is pure goodness. Effectiveness is the measure of truth.
Aloha Uhane ~ I love and honor my spirit.
Goodness cradles our heart in freedom’s holy righteousness.
The Key: Effectiveness emerges through flexibility of values and beliefs.

MALU is pure peace. Everything contains the stillness of peace.
Uawo ~ I create peace. True peace is accessible to the one
who allows everything to be, just the way it is.
The Key: Be still, humble, respectful, honoring of Infinite Grace, always present.

               Although we offer many forms of healing and bodywork that are
  ideal for practitioners, the purpose of our training retreats is really to OPEN you up, CLEAR
  you out and FILL you up with the awareness and presence of Infinite aloha, Love without end!
  In this regard, many of the folks that come to our longer events are not really interested in   becoming massage therapists or bodywork practitioners. They come to discover who they are.

  Many come just to retreat from their normal every day routine. They come to experience
  a new beginning, a fresh start in life. They come to experience intimacy with their soul and
  to OPEN new pathways of FLOW in their body and their circumstances. They come to
  transform their body and to be filled with Peace and touched by Thundering Grace!
  They come to experience the awesome power of residential Conscious Community living.
  The young come through feeling more mature and the old come through feeling more young!
  The youngest to come so far was just 17 years old and the oldest has been 65.
  They come from all occupations to reconnect with their inner beauty & the bounty of life,
  to reassemble and recharge their own unique purpose for living and loving.

  Some of them are school teachers, spa owners, single moms, realtors, accountants, nurses,
  architects, secretaries, construction workers, contractors, doctors, musicians, bus drivers
  and finally massage therapists. We share with them a new way of being, a new way of
  looking at life. We teach you practices of how to attract what you want most into
  your life, instead of chasing after it!!!

  We are all here on earth to heal and grow through relationships. Attending our training
  retreats is an excellent way to do both. Some folks even meet their new partner at one
